Milestone

Today marked a new milestone in my life, big or small I’m not sure but it is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

I’ve been in this company and client for almost 3 years.
Angry, frustration, joy, achievement, failure, success etc - CHECKED.
Traveling from Singapore to China, then Penang, and now Singapore and Bintan - CHECKED.
Went thru a snow storm in China, got stranded in Shanghai Airport and wildly taking a taxi ride to Suzhou in the middle of snow storm – CHECKED.
Midnight flight every Friday and Sunday for one year – CHECKED.
etc etc etc

With so much memory behind, it is definitely deserved a special place somewhere in head.

A new experience and challenge is awaiting next week. One thing for sure, I want to forget this for a while and catch up with my personal life in this coming long weekend.

Few weeks back, I had one great opportunity presented to me. If everything falls nicely, it will have a major change or impact in our life. So since it is going to be a BIG decision, I thought I would like to share it with God and ask for His guidance.

In fact I clearly pray for a faith exercise through this process.

Being a foolish man, I'm using my limited wisdom and in away give God a multiple choice question.
In summary, I kind asked God something like:
What is our future be?
A. Moving away
B. Stay in current place and grow in role / challenge
C. Stay in current place but move to different boss

Well, today God just answered clearly: 'you fool, I choose D - None of the above' and the world turned upside down :)

In the past few days, so much happened that the three choices I gave or I can think of seems away now. Option A has no progress so far and I see my chance is getting slimmer, option B has been confirmed with big N and O letter, option C was shut last week.

Am I sad? Am I disappointed?

Kinda yes and no, but strangely I'm not so concern about the result on option A - C, I'm more concern on what's next! I mean if God choose D, then what is His plan for me now? My original question 'What is our future be' is still not answered so I believe there is next lesson to be learned or revealed.

This morning God kind of gave me a verse from Proverbs, so I know God is behind this and working on something.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding
in all your ways acknowledge him
and he will make your paths straight.

I guess what I can do now is just trust and obey.

Lack of sleep

Been on to numerous midnight and early morning con-calls with the US these past few days, the effect now took a toll. I really tired, lack of sleep and can't concentrate on anything.

Thanks God today is Friday so that I can have a late wake up call tomorrow or no wake up call at all :)
But before I officially enter the weekend mode, I still have few con-calls tonight, hopes I can stay up during the call :) It's going to be very embarassing if suddently someone snoring on the line.

BTW, now I do not need to see the meeting invitation to get the call number and ID, I can memorize it over my head.

Just had a discussion about a great opportunity which also comes with a complex and huge challenge.

Kind of confused and dazed now, in deciding whether I should proceed and take up the opportunity and at the same time, worry whether I'm up to the challenge which come with it.

Well, honestly it still early on the process, can't say much as anything can happen in near future. What I can do now is pray and surrenders everything to God.

Tired and want to sleep.........but I have some adrenalin kick during the discussion and now my mind is still busy processing the data, can't forced my body and mind to rest and sleep.
